I’ve have 2 children in 2 years and anyone who’s done the same will tell you that it’s pretty hard going on the body and the mind and after I had Spencer in February I decided, as we are no longer planning to have anymore children, that it’s time to think about me and what I need to do for the future. I have a list of things that I want to get back over time. I am a believer that women can have it all, but not necessarily all at the same time. You do have to sacrifice things as we go along and regain them later as your children get older.

My health and fitness has been something that I have started working on, eating better, giving up sugar and working out using Fitness Blender and a new program to me – Kayla Itsines ( a review coming on this soon). I am 4 weeks in and I’m really enjoying this. I used to be a dancer so working out has always been a pleasure I love the feeling I get afterwards and the sense of achievement. I will update you on how I’m doing and if I’m brave enough I will share the before and after pics.

I need to do this not just for me, but for my children. I want to bring them up into a health family. I want them to watch me cook, learn to love food and have a good understanding of produce. It is very is important to me. Juliet already enjoys exercising with me and it makes me so happy.

The other things on my list are career, family time and friendships and I will be blogging on all these over the next few weeks. I’m also planning on sharing my favourite recipes and workouts with you too.

For me I couldn’t wait until New Years to start my resolutions, but what’s the point in waiting…… if I start now then I start 2015 in a better place…. so what are you waiting for?
