I love summer, but I love Autumn make-up trends more. The rich deep colours – purples, browns, golds and smokey taupes. These are a few of my favourites, but it is the beginning of the season, and I’m sure there are a lot more shadows to be brought and my top 5 shall change again… so this is a work in progress.
Loreal Infalable Eyeshadows In Sahara Treasure. – These are a press pigment and have been around for a while now. I prefer to work with these day to day as its not as messy as a lose pigment. That aside they come in a beautiful shade range that are great to pack on to sweep across the eyes, and the glitter is not too chunky. The colour shown here is Sarah Desert – a muted gold
Maybeline 24 Hour Colour Tatoo in Metallic Pomegranate – This gel cream shadow is a deep berry shade, full of dimension on the lids, it sits well under gold and green it’s beautiful on the eyes. It’s a great base under powder shadow or pigments. It also comes alive under MAC’s cranberry – it just adds more depth. It’s also great under golds, browns and khaki, leafy greens. I often wear this alone too and it lasts all day.
L’oreal Mono’s in Gold Mania – This is a beautiful true gold. I’ve written about this collection before, I love all of them in this range. This is a great summer and winter colour and will look great for the party season too, so pack it on and shine.
Bobbi Brown long lasting cream shadow in Beach Bronze – This is a warm, very long lasting brown shadow. You have to work quickly with this as it does set fast. This is great to wear alone and even looks good in the crease, it’s not completely matte but not gaudy for day time.
Mac honesty – Looks like MAC’s version of Stila’s Kitten. It’s sparkly gold that looks pretty wet or dry. Again this can look good alone or on top of other shadows, but does have some fallout so watch out when applying.
