/ Beauty, Make Up

I have yet to find a decent BB cream that suits my skin. Now I don’t buy them for the BB “benefits”, I like them because that are a lighter coverage, quick to use and simple to apply. I went to the Body Shop as its my Birthday month and wanted to treat myself with my loyalty card and thought I would try their All in one BB cream not expecting much. Its a white cream that changes colour to match your skin whilst evening out your complexion. I was skeptical but wow I’m converted. It’s amazing, the more you work it in the better the colour becomes, rubbing seamlessly into the skin. I was shocked. Usually these creams leave an ashy veil, but not this one. My face looked even and glowing. It comes in 4 shades fair, light, medium and dark and you only need a small amount to get the desired effect, Being so excited finally finding a BB cream, I tried the same shade on my mum, who has a slightly deeper shade to me, and I couldn’t believe it, some shade 03 still blended in seamlessly into my mums face, beautiful.

Next to the BB cream sat the insta blur primer. I’ve heard a lot about this online and I love a good primer, and this for me doesn’t disappoint. It does have a silicone feel, but not in a clogging way. It’s like magic on my skin, smoothing, shine removing and refining. You only need a small amount which I pat into the skin rather than rub, focusing on my T zone and on any blemishes. You can wear this alone or under foundation and I can see myself wearing this little combo for the rest of the summer.
