If you don’t know who I’m talking about… why the hell not? Im talking about Mary aka The Another Girls Life. There are many reasons why I enjoy watching and reading what Mary has to say. She is funny, honest, has a million different accents and also managed to change her career later on in life. Now Mary’s not old, but I have worked in HR for years, and I know how hard it is for people in their late twenties to say, “Ive had enough, its time for something new” and she did, and she’s done it. Late 20’s isn’t old by any means, but in the world of work, and in these uncertain financial times, to do this is a brave thing to do. Mary has taken something she is passionate about and made it into a career. Something I’m trying to do myself. Mary unknowingly has been an inspiration to me (and others I’m sure) I really hope to be as successful as she is now, I wonder if she see’s herself that way. I really hope she does.
This is why I love The Another Girls Life, not just for her light hearted content, funny vlogs and great haircare tips (pleeeease learn more on mixed and afro hair types so you can show me) but because her story speaks to me personally, and thats what I think this is all about.
