/ Beauty, Make Up

I’m always a bit dubious buying foundations online, The colours are never usually what you would expect, and it’s always good to feel what it’s like on the skin before buying. I wanted to try the foundation, but it was out of stock in Almond (the shade I concluded that I was)  so I brought the tinted moisturiser instead.

elf cover up

I also wanted to try a concealer kit. I have been debating if I should get the MAC concealer kit, but I have never been really sure how much I would use it, and I didn’t want to spend so much money on something I wouldn’t use. This one looks good, but is a little oily, I think I will need to set it with powder for it to work.

The tinted moisturiser is a little red toned for my skin and doesn’t really have any coverage to it. If you have almost flawless skin naturally this would be great for you, but if you have pigmentation and wanted to even out your skin, I don’t think this works so well. Im gonna keep trying it to really see if its for me.

The Radiance Enhancer is a bit chunky, and a little goes a long way. It twists up and has a brush applicator. It does look pretty on the skin but I would use just on the high points like you would a highlighter. It does mention using on dark circles, but I would never put this under my eyes.

body shimmers

These body shimmers remind me of the Lush balms, they are very shimmery and good for a night out. If you mixed it with body lotion it looks much better than it does alone but it does transfer onto clothes so you need to really rub it into the skin. The bronzer is a little muddy looking but is good for contouring. A light hand is best for this product and build up slowly to avoid the muddy orange look.

Complete Coverage Concealer £3.95 Tinted Moisturiser £4.50 Radiance Enhancer £3.95, Body Shimmer £3.95, Bronzer £2.50
