/ Beauty, Make Up

I have two E.L.F Palettes and two smaller quads. I don’t often wear lots of colour on my lids, so these are a good option for me as they are very inexpensive for my infrequent use. I have the 32 everyday Palette, which I think has been updated but features the same colours, and a party palette I got given free with an order. I then purchased the Tantalising Taupe and Golden Goddess quads too.

I love the quads, and have also brought them for my niece as she is just starting to use makeup. I’m quite fussy with eye shadows and these are not to chalky, have good pigment and are ideal for everyday use. They are also a good size to chuck into your handbag. I like that fact that they are matte shade and can be smoked out for an evening look on the go.

The 32 piece palette is great for experimenting with colours, but I do think that some of the colours are quite chalky. The darker and richer colours i.e. the browns, dark reds, greens and golds work well but the lighter shades, pinks, cream, purple are a little chalky but are still useable with primer and work well wet. You just need a tissue for any fallout.
