What’s one of easiest way to experiment with colour in the changing seasons?… nail polish. This week I will be sharing my favourite spring/summer nail colours with you and my favourite brands. At the end of the week there will be a GIVEAWAY of some of the nail polishes I have mentioned.

So lets start…Today it’s Essie and here are my four faves

Most people have tried Essie nail polishes but if you haven’t they have a great range of colours, wide brush and a good formula that doesn’t tend to chip on me, I think that like hair products, it depends on the person. I use a base coat and a Sally Hanson top coat and the polish lasts for at least 5 days if not longer without chips. As long as i make sure there is no oil on my nails my varnish will last without peeling.

Now the colours… Eternal Optimist is a beautiful dusty rose/nude, its so easy to wear with all colours of outfits. Its one of my go to colours when I’m not sure what to wear.

Splash of Grenadine is a fun cool toned pink. I always get compliments when I wear this colour and it suits all skin types. It’s a stunning pop of spring summer colour and would be great with a matching bright lip.

Meet me as Sunset is my favourite nail colour of all time (at the moment). Its so easy to wear and I love this orange based red. It’s both sophisticated and fun, great with a LBD or jeans.

Watermelon is more of a warm pink red a really juicy colour. It’s a great alternative to a bright red (like Russian Roulette) for the summer months.
